Undergraduate Tour – Crossing Over: Art and Science at Caltech, 1920–2020 (PST ART)

We invite our undergraduate students for a personal, lunch hour tour of Crossing Over: Art and Science at Caltech, 1920–2020 with the event organizers and our colleagues from the Caltech Archives and Special Collections.

How, this exhibition asks, have Caltech scientists and engineers used images and collaborated with artists to discover, invent, and communicate? The result, unfolding across Caltech's campus in six outdoor and indoor venues, weaves together the history of science with historical and contemporary art. Sections focus on astronomy, seismology, genetics, chemistry, particle physics, nuclear weapons, data visualization, rocketry, and planetary science.
