Introduction to turbulence for physicists
Gregory Falkovich,
Weizmann Institute,
The lecture is in 269 Lauritsen.
I am often asked to formulate "the great problem of turbulence" so one can solve it and get the Nobel Prize.
This mini-course does that in 4 two-hour lectures. As a bonus, it includes the formulation of a connected Milennium problem plus two extra problems, one for a Fields medal, another for a possible Breakthrough Prize. No prior knowledge of fluid mechanics is expected.
This is Lecture #3.
